During the process of being granted the coveted GSASchedule status, VSI also received a very high rating of 9.5 out of 10 on the Open Ratings evaluation process, which is a customer survey that compares a company to other rated companies in the same Standard Industry Classifications (SIC) group. VSI’s superior rating is a clear indication of the high-quality performance that the company offers in terms of reliability, cost, delivery timeliness, quality, customer support, and responsiveness, among others.
VSI is a California-based manufacturer, but the GSA Schedule award will open up opportunities for the company’s resellers and dealers all over the country. They will now be able to tap into and gain access to the vast government markets, creating additional revenue and job opportunities nationwide.
A GSA Schedule is a contract which permits government agencies to purchase commercial services and products at a prenegotiated price through a select list of authorized suppliers. The GSA Schedules program is the procurement method of choice as it significantly reduces the time and expense of acquisition for both the contractor and the federal customer.
