An international company is looking for a Chinese manufacturing Engineer/project coordinator.

    ·Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.  Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Mandarin Chinese as primary languages.
    ·Good communication skills necessary to accurately relay information to US based office and our Chinese subcontractors and vendors.  Primary means of communication with US based office are email and Skype.
    ·Ability to accurately translate English instructions, Engineering Change Orders, and drawings to Chinese
    ·Track and report on order status, monitor progress and communicate issues in a timely manner.
    ·Oversee Chinese supplier activity as appropriate, ensuring all technical issues are resolved in order to meet production demand.
    ·Visit Chinese vendors on a regular basis.  Participate in the investigation of manufacturing issues and the implementation of corrective actions needed.
    ·Organized; diligent in documentation and revision control.  
    ·Quality: Responsible for corrective action of returns for any failures received in US office.
    ·Strong mechanical and analytical skills with emphasis on root cause analysis.  
    ·Must have the ability to determine acceptance of mechanical parts from drawings (dimensions, tolerances, etc.).  
    ·Must be adept in the building of mechanical assemblies and determining root causes of issues and possible solutions in the assembly of them. Knowledge on the use of calipers, micrometer, other associated hand tools for determining acceptability of metal and plastic parts required.
    ·Conduct on site quality acceptance, first piece inspections prior to supplier shipping orders to US office.
    ·The ability to effectively document and communicate direction and objectives to management and suppliers
    ·Expand current list of Chinese vendors.  Must have the ability to evaluate and qualify/disqualify as needed.
 
    ·BS in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required, MS preferred. 
    ·5+ years of working experience in field  of study required.
    ·Vehicle, computer, mobile phone and some travel required.
    ·Knowledge in IPC standards (IPC-610 and IPC-600) helpful.
